Participants will be involved in a 5-day challenge-based training in Cyprus, where engaging and meaningful challenges are designed by key local stakeholders to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the context of urban mobility. Learning outcomes for each challenge will be carefully determined, and appropriate teaching methods will be selected to create a cohesive and impactful learning experience.

The program will feature training content tailored to equip students with essential skills and knowledge in problem analysis, ideation, business modeling, market research, and pitching. Continuous coaching and support will be provided throughout the learning journey, ensuring participants gain valuable insights into innovation and entrepreneurship within urban mobility.

The Challenge-Based Learning Programme culminates in a five-day experience where participants work collaboratively in teams to develop solutions for sustainable urban mobility in Cyprus, addressing challenges provided by local stakeholders. Participants will also receive feedback from trainers and experts and present their well-developed business ideas to a panel of judges.

Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to students from RIS countries* who have completed at least their second year of an undergraduate degree in fields such as engineering, information science, information technology, computer science, computer engineering, statistics, geoinformation technology, urban planning, geography, economics, or software engineering.
The 5-day training programme will be free of charge and fully covered for university students.

Selection Process
The first round of applications will be evaluated by early February 2025 and 60 applicants will be contacted for their CV and motivation letter. The second round of evaluation will take place and by mid February 2025, the final participants will be contacted to arrange their transportation and accommodation arrangements (TBA).
Paid participants are not subject to a selection process—anyone interested can join.
